Dynamac Awarded Department of Energy Subcontract
Dynamac Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a subcontract to provide sampling support for Los Alamos National Security, LLC, the prime contractor for the Department of Energy s Los Alamos National Laboratory. Under this subcontract, Dynamac will support the Interagency Biological Restoration Demonstration (IBRD) program, which has a mission to identify and demonstrate technologies having applicability to recovery from biological threat agents. Dynamac will sample the fate of Bacillus thuringiensis, a gypsy moth control measure, as a surrogate for the release of a biological threat agent in an urban environment. Samples are expected to include aerosol, HVAC, soil, vegetation, water, and other surfaces. This multi-phased two-year program will be managed by Dr. Tim Hall, Dynamac s Senior Vice President for Western Operations, and will involve two sampling teams working in the States of Washington and Virginia.
