The experience and diverse expertise of our ecological specialists and natural resources managers provide Dynamac with an exceptional understanding of the structure and function of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. We are skilled in designing and monitoring field investigations; developing management plans; and applying descriptive and predictive models for contaminant transport, fate, and ecological effects. Our staff excels in applications of advanced remote sensing technology and in the operation of GIS and supporting analytical tools.
Dynamac’s resource management experience spans a broad range of environments: from the Arctic to the semitropics, from alpine lakes and forests to coral reefs, from wetland communities to semiarid rangelands. We deploy fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, satellites, autonomous underwater vehicles, and other sampling platforms to collect data on selected natural resource attributes and to perform long-term monitoring activities.
Dynamac is also a nationally recognized leader in fire management. We assess wildland-urban-interface problems, design prescribed burns, assess fire risks, develop emergency communication and evacuation plans, prepare mitigation plans, and foster public awareness. We developed a real-time fire risk and fire management system (FireMAN) capable of integrating data from a wide variety of sensors and of disseminating critical information rapidly to a diverse community of stakeholders. |
