Since the 1970s, environmental management and compliance services have been a mainstay of Dynamac’s business. We now support a vast array of Federal and state environmental programs and their implementation at military installations and other government facilities, spaceports and seaports, and conservation lands.
Dynamac understands the scientific underpinnings of environmental regulations. We have a long history of working with EPA in the development and evolution of Federal regulations and guidelines issued under CAA, CERCLA, CWA, EPCRA, FIFRA, NEPA, RCRA, and TSCA.
For more than 20 years, in support of EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs, we have evaluated toxicological, ecotoxicological, chemistry, and environmental fate and effects data submitted by commercial pesticide manufacturers in support of registrations. We have conducted numerous hazardous waste site investigations and have provided regulatory oversight for the cleanup of Federal facilities in more than a dozen states.
As a Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contractor, Dynamac supported the response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In addition to providing emergency response services, Dynamac supports on-site activities at contaminated sites. These activities include site assessments and investigations, removal oversight, public participation, data management, and training.
Dynamac has more than a decade of experience in developing, refining, installing, and operating reliable hazardous substances information management and tracking systems. Our work in this area spans six Federal agencies and covers hundreds of installations in the United States and overseas. In addition, Dynamac supports recycling and affirmative procurement initiatives at these agencies where we integrate and track all of a facility’s environmental requirements and associated compliance activities through the design and implementation of ISO 14001-compliant Environmental Management Systems.
Dynamac has served as a prime contractor to all branches of the armed services, supporting installation sustainment programs, land stewardship responsibilities, reducing exposures and liabilities from hazardous and toxic materials, conducting training programs, and enabling installations to perform their missions safely and efficiently. We have deployed Compliance Assessment Teams; provided environmental and pollution prevention training and assessment; operated hazardous materials pharmacies; and designed, installed, operated, and provided staff training for hazardous materials tracking systems at more than 200 DoD installations worldwide. We have also supported the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by providing planning, conservation, and NEPA services for various district offices; by performing Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) Program services; and by providing document imaging and records management for “Greening of Government” initiatives.
