Dynamac Corporation is pleased to announce that EPA’s Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) has awarded Dynamac a Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract for Region VI. The START is a Fixed Rate/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity/Award Term contract with a potential value of $167M and a period of performance of 10 years. As an EPA START contractor the Dynamac Team will support a broad scope of work including emergency response, preparedness and prevention, assessment and inspection, technical support, data management, and training activities related to the release of oil, hazardous substances, and other potential contaminants. EPA’s Region VI includes the States of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Dynamac was supporting EPA Region VI on the recovery effort following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, as a subcontractor on the previous START contract. Tim Hall, Dynamac’s Vice President for Western Regional Operations, will manage the newly awarded prime contract.
Dynamac has a long work-history with EPA and has been a support contractor to the agency for more than 25 years. As such, EPA is Dynamac’s longest standing client. Doug Britt, Dynamac’s President & COO, stated “We are very excited by the opportunity to support EPA’s START program as a prime contractor in Region VI. This new award represents the largest contract in our corporate history and also reflects a continuing expansion of Dynamac services in the Region.”
