Full support of environmental programs involves a great deal of records management. The quality of records management support we provide our clients is unequaled. Our support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers HTRW Center of Expertise (CX) in Omaha, Nebraska, is one of our major document management programs. For this multi-year project for the Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) Program, Dynamac provides full-service document management, which includes establishing Administrative and Permanent Records, organizing documents, and developing electronic deliverables that meet Corps standards. In addition, we have assisted the HTRW-CX in the review and revision of document organization standards. To date, we have also scanned and delivered over 12,500 individual documents and over 420,000 pages of material, including text, oversize maps, color photographs, and figures.
Another aspect of the work we do for HTRW-CX requires us to perform technical reviews of the contents of the project files to determine the completeness of the files and whether the data contained in the files support the project’s mission. Then, we do the work necessary to complete or revise the documentation within the project files.
Dynamac also specializes in completing large projects quickly, without making costly errors. A typical Corps records management project involves 40,000 to 50,000 pages of material; 1,500 individual documents; 200 color plates or oversize maps; and assorted unorganized files. These are processed and returned within 4 to 5 weeks.
Always aware of the need for security, Dynamac has established dedicated workrooms, computer servers, and other tools to ensure that both hard copy and electronic documents are kept separate and secure. The same care is taken when delivering documents. Our experience in document management is extensive and our performance—from document creation to final disposition—is of the highest quality. |
