Dynamac serves as prime contractor for NASA/KSC’s $120 million, 8-year Life Science Services Contract (LSSC). The LSSC is follow-on to the previous Life Sciences Support Contract, which Dynamac held from 1995 to 2001. Dynamac scientists, engineers, and IT specialists have supported nearly all of the life sciences experiments launched into low-Earth orbit from KSC and have provided environmental compliance and natural resource management services for the entire center and the surrounding Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Under our current contract, Dynamac provides a diverse array of technical services in support of the following Mission Plan Elements:

We manage eight laboratories at KSC, including the Space Life Sciences Laboratory, where we perform basic and applied life sciences research and development activities and provide scientific and engineering support to nearly all of the life science experiments slated to fly aboard a Space Shuttle or on the International Space Station. The world-class SLS Lab provides Dynamac scientists, NASA personnel, and academic researchers an unrivaled facility to continue to advance the sciences that will benefit life in space and here on Earth.
Dynamac has an excellent service record at KSC, receiving numerous awards, such as NASA/KSC Small Business Contractor of the Year, NASA/KSC Woman-Owned Contractor of the Year, NASA Nationwide Woman-Owned Small Business Contractor of the Year, Regional Finalist for Small Business Administration's (SBA) National Contractor of the Year, and SBA Regional winner. Dynamac has also received numerous NASA/KSC Center Director's Safety Awards. Dynamac managers have been awarded three NASA Public Service Medals during the term of this contract. |
