In addition, we research cutting-edge technologies designed to reduce or eliminate environmental pollution at the installation and support the Fort Hood Sustainment Plan.
With a strong commitment to quality improvement, Dynamac has measurably improved environmental activities at the Fort. In particular, Dynamac recommended the adoption of “green” building technologies and methods and the installation of porous walkway surfaces to lessen soil erosion. Dynamac’s innovations have resulted in substantial savings to the client, in both time and money.
Dynamac’s commitment to environmental sustainability and stewardship at Fort Hood has garnered recognition for excellence. The National Registry of Environmental Professionals recently selected Fort Hood for two awards, recognizing Fort Hood for its comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS) and for its recycling program. Fort Hood has also been lauded by the Blue Skyways Collaborative for its efforts to reduce air pollution in the central U.S. In addition to these awards, Fort Hood has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for being the first Army installation in the region to join the National Partnership for Environmental Priorities (NPEP). |
